Some public entities will be rationalised to realise the objectives of the Department. A strong<br />
emphasis on economic intelligence will be at the forefront of sustainable economic development<br />
agenda.<br />
As the executive authority of the Department of economic development and environmental affairs,<br />
I fully endorse this annual performance plan. I undertake to do all within my powers to assist the<br />
Department in realising the seven goals outlined in the strategic plan.<br />
