<strong>Aubrey</strong> <strong>Alsobrook</strong>’s newest book,<br />
Life <strong>with</strong> <strong>God</strong>. <strong>Dr</strong>. <strong>Alsobrook</strong> is a<br />
native of Georgia and has been a<br />
member of the South Georgia<br />
Annual Conference for seventy years.<br />
He earned his bachelor’s and master’s<br />
degrees in philosophy and divinity<br />
from Emory University and his<br />
doctorate from <strong>Dr</strong>ew University.<br />
He has served pastorates across<br />
South Georgia and served for five<br />
years as the Superintendent of the<br />
Waycross District.<br />
<strong>Dr</strong>. <strong>Alsobrook</strong>’s newest book, Life<br />
<strong>with</strong> <strong>God</strong>, is a collection of thirty-six<br />
stimulating reflections on scripture<br />
passages through the deep faith of<br />
a loving pastor <strong>with</strong> many years of<br />
experience. It is a wonderful devotional<br />
guide for the beginning of the new<br />
year. Most of all, this book is a loving<br />
invitation for readers to participate<br />
in life <strong>with</strong> <strong>God</strong> from one who has<br />
walked his own long journey<br />
close to <strong>God</strong>.<br />

to his fellow residents of <strong>Magnolia</strong><br />
<strong>Manor</strong>, and all proceeds from the sale<br />
of the book will go to The League of<br />
the Good Samaritan, <strong>Magnolia</strong><br />
<strong>Manor</strong>’s compassionate assistance<br />
program for residents. Because of<br />
The League of the Good Samaritan,<br />
<strong>Magnolia</strong> <strong>Manor</strong> has been able to<br />
keep a vital promise to senior adults<br />
for some forty-seven years: “No one<br />
will ever have to leave the <strong>Manor</strong> due<br />
to their inability to fully pay for the<br />
cost of care.”<br />
