Unusual Fact (Did you know?): When I was a boy, i didn´t have my club´s socks,
Francisco Merello is undoubtedly the most
experienced man in the squad, having 49 participations
in Sevens tournaments since his
debut in 2006 and, in addition, he is the only
player in the team who played the 2009 Sevens
World Series in Dubai. His career in the
national teams started in 2003 when he wore
the Argentine jersey for the first time as part
of the U19 team in the World competition of
that category.
He played the U21 RWC the two following
years. He was part of the Pumas squad from
2007 to 2010, as well as the teams Argentine
A and the Jaguares.
