Instructors, (Iowa State University, industry, and ConAgra Foods),
nationally and internationally recognized authorities in their fields,
will provide information about the latest technology available.
You must be classified as a ConAgra Foods Brown Belt Processing
Specialist before taking Black Belt Training.
Individuals successfully completing the Black Belt Training
Program will be designated ConAgra Foods Black Belt Processing
Specialists.

Location
The Meat and Poultry Black Belt
Training Sessions will be held at
the Iowa State University Meat
Laboratory. A shuttle bus will
transport you between The Hotel
at Gateway Center and the Meat
Laboratory. If requested, shuttle
service will also be provided
between Ames and the Des
Moines International Airport.
Schedule
In June 2005, you will receive a packet of information describing the Internet
Modules and the Plant Project Module. Internet Modules and the Plant Project
Module will be completed from your plant.
The October 11-12, 2005 Black Belt Training Session will begin with a reception
and dinner Monday evening at 6:00 p.m. at The Hotel at Gateway Center. It will
conclude with dinner on Wednesday evening. All participants should plan on
attending this dinner. A bus will return you to the Des Moines Airport for Thursday
departure. The course will begin each day with a continental breakfast at 7:30 a.m.
at the Meat Laboratory and conclude each day with a reception and dinner. Lunch
will also be provided each day.
