Staff Development and Performance Assessment
The UKHO is committed to ensuring that its staff are developed and trained so that they are able
to make the maximum contribution to the success of the UKHO. Staff will be given the
opportunity to participate in their personal development and to link their skills and experience
with the needs of the organisation. Staff will be supported, as necessary, by a development
strategy that offers technical, professional and managerial training, and appropriate vocational
qualifications.
All staff will participate in performance assessment procedures, and will be encouraged to
discuss their development needs as part of the performance appraisal process.
