Distribution outside India: Bhutan, China, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand.

GenBank: The genomes of three domesticated lines of cucumber have been sequenced,
the American pickling cucumber, a Polish line, and a Chinese line (Huang et al.,
2009).
Comments: The wild progenitors of domesticated cucumber still occur in India (Sebastian
et al., 2010).
