3. Pr<strong>of</strong>ile <strong>of</strong> the Respondents<br />

The forego<strong>in</strong>g analysis shows that majority <strong>of</strong> people work<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> the private<br />

security <strong>in</strong>dustry <strong>in</strong> <strong>Ghana</strong> are young people. All respondents had some<br />

level <strong>of</strong> formal education but the majority (74.95%) have basic to secondary<br />

education. In addition, majority <strong>of</strong> respondents are be<strong>in</strong>g used <strong>in</strong> reputable<br />

firms such as bank<strong>in</strong>g <strong>and</strong> f<strong>in</strong>ance <strong>and</strong> trades <strong>and</strong> commerce. There is also<br />

a wide gender difference among respondents.<br />
