Olive’s in house team was chosen by ITM to
handle production, and the team was also
tasked with managing two external teams in
SpotMe and ITMTV.
SpotMe is an interactive voting and networking
tool. Each delegate is photographed at registration
and their details loaded onto a personalised
handset together with their personal diary of
appointments and the conference programme.
Networking
As Mark Harris explains “The ITM Conference was
the first travel industry event to utilize SpotMe,
which originates from Switzerland. As well as
providing delegates with the means to submit
questions, participate in polls and to score each
session for content, delivery and relevance,
SpotMe allows users to send and receive
business cards. Not to mention the facility to
select a specific delegate, and when that person
comes within 6 feet, your SpotMe set discreetly
alerts you. It’s the ultimate networking tool,
we’ve used it for two years and our delegates
love it because it saves them a fortune in
business cards!”
ITMTV is the service which gives association
members security-protected access to footage
of every session in ITM’s educational programme,
including the conference on its website. For
Emma and the team, this meant coordinating
four film crews and integrating their requirements
into the layout of the conference rooms, lighting
and sight lines.
“Dealing with multiple suppliers and bringing
their respective efforts together into a single
cohesive delegate experience demanded a very
detailed technical script for all concerned, which
we wrote and managed” says Olive 360 o ’s Head
of Production Ben Akroyd. ”Eventualy, our on
site team comprised over 20 event management
and production personnel.”
