CTC Grant, continued from front page
within him. The professionally written play
is performed, directed and staged by York
Suburban High School students. Project
Harmony’s goal is “to promote harmony,
sensitivity, understanding and tolerance
among all people, regardless of racial, ethnic,
cultural of religious backgrounds.”
Discussion periods are held after the play
to get feedback from the audience about the
factors that led to the school violence and
what could have been done to prevent it.
CTC will now provide the financial support
to have the program travel to other
school districts.
Bryan Tate, the York County Community
Foundation’s Vice President of Program,
Grantmaking and Initiatives said
there were 27 applicants for the venture
grants and only 14 were awarded.
