The following data apply for all raw chipboard panels
Construction materials class
Emission class E1
Heat conductivity 0.13 W/mK
Moisture content on delivery ex-factory 9 ± 3 %
Thickness tolerance for finished panels ± 0.3 mm
Length/width tolerance for standard panels ± 5 mm
Perpendicularity tolerance 2 mm/m
Edge straightness tolerance 1.5 mm/m
All the above technical properties apply exclusively for temperate climate zones (temperature, air humidity, light etc.).
except for Pyroex B1 (low inflammability)
Association.
Pyroex B1 is a flame-retardant wood-based material (construction material class DIN 4102-B 1) with the
classification B-s1, d0 to DIN EN 13501-1. The Pyroex B1 panel combines all the advantages of a chipboard
panel (high strength, outstanding durability, easy processing properties, versatile decorative laminating
capabilities) with additional safety in the event of fire. The addition of flame-retardant agents reduces
the combustion rate of the raw chipboard panels, significantly increasing the fire-resistance. With the aid
of Pyroex B1 panels, the so-called “flash-over point”, i.e. the time until the full development of the fire, can
be delayed, and the fire even prevented in some cases. The primary application areas of Pyroex B1 panels
include interior panelling of rooms in public buildings, halls, meeting areas, cinemas and theatres, as well
as rooms subject to a high risk of fire (laboratories, petrol station sales areas, TV studios).
