Swiss Post Solutions Ltd wins top supplier award from
Boots
Swiss Post Solutions Ltd (www.swisspost.co.uk) is today delighted to announce that it has
been awarded the Business Services Outsourcing Partner of the Year Award from Boots.
Markus Becker, CEO, Swiss Post Solutions Ltd, said: “This is a spectacular achievement,
which is down to the great work of our exceptionally talented team, including Darren
Burley, Elaine Perks and the team in Nottingham, with great steer from Mick Everett and
Kelly Donovan. We are thrilled that Boots has recognised our first-class knowledge-base
and unbeatable service and look forward to working closely with them in the future to
continue the fantastic relationship.”
He continued “The Award further consolidates our strong position with retail clients, who
themselves have incredibly high standards. It provides us with a platform to further grow
and excel in a particularly demanding sector.”
Markus Becker also praised Dave King, Head of Operational Purchasing and Business
Services at Alliance Boots and his team, on the successful implementation of the Contract
Management Service Delivery (CMSD), which was launched in March 2007. “The CMSD
model clearly outlines the generic business and service requirements for each supplier to
work toward. For a supplier this is very important, providing a very clear focus on key
criteria which are fundamental to the development of service delivery within Boots. The
ethos of the CMSD provides a real partnership approach between Boots and suppliers”.

Dave King, Head of Operational Purchasing and Business Services, added
“CMSD has enabled the Business Services outsourcing partners to significantly improve
their performance to Boots over the last year. We have about 15 partners currently using
this methodology and I am delighted that Swiss Post Solutions Ltd have performed
exceptionally well and are the Business Services outsourcing partner of the year for 2007-
8.”
Underlining the flourishing relationship between the two companies, Swiss Post Solutions
Ltd is also happy to announce that its contract with Boots to provide Mailroom, Print,
Coupon and Archiving services has been extended from July 2009 to June 2011, continuing
a successful partnership that began in June 2004
