If your operating environment contains an enterprise management console, you<br />

can optionally configure agents to send trapped events to the console using the<br />

SNMP service.<br />

If you want the servers on your network to send SNMP traps to the enterprise<br />

management console, see “Email and SNMP” on page 229.<br />

Optional. To install and use <strong>Sun</strong> StorEdge Diagnostic Reporter, a companion utility<br />

of <strong>Sun</strong> StorEdge <strong>Configuration</strong> Service that reports your storage system events to<br />

specified email addresses, refer to the <strong>Sun</strong> StorEdge <strong>3000</strong> <strong>Family</strong> Diagnostic Reporter<br />

User’s Guide.<br />

Optional. To use multipathing, <strong>Sun</strong> StorEdge Traffic Manager software is required<br />

(included in the <strong>Sun</strong> StorEdge SAN Foundation software). Refer to the “Other<br />

Supported Software” section in the release notes for your array for more<br />

information.<br />
