If your operating environment contains an enterprise management console, you
can optionally configure agents to send trapped events to the console using the
SNMP service.
If you want the servers on your network to send SNMP traps to the enterprise
management console, see “Email and SNMP” on page 229.
Optional. To install and use Sun StorEdge Diagnostic Reporter, a companion utility
of Sun StorEdge Configuration Service that reports your storage system events to
specified email addresses, refer to the Sun StorEdge 3000 Family Diagnostic Reporter
User’s Guide.
Optional. To use multipathing, Sun StorEdge Traffic Manager software is required
(included in the Sun StorEdge SAN Foundation software). Refer to the “Other
Supported Software” section in the release notes for your array for more
information.
