Isogai reacts on decades of hard-drilled instinct, parrying<br />
the blow -- CRAAANG! -- then CHOPPING the Ainu across the<br />
middle, cleaving him in two!<br />
ISOGAI<br />
You should not have struck at me,<br />
old man. I regret that I had to<br />
kill you.<br />
But the Ainu doesn’t fall. And instead, starts to laugh.<br />
ONE-ARMED AINU<br />
And I regret that you are in error.<br />
You’ve done me no harm.<br />
At th<strong>is</strong>, the Ainu straightens and we see he’s completely<br />
unharmed. Isogai gapes in awe...until he sees h<strong>is</strong> blade<br />
laying on the ground, SHATTERED. He’s been standing there<br />
like an idiot, holding only the handle of h<strong>is</strong> sword.<br />
And the Ainu’s sword <strong>is</strong> untouched. <strong>Not</strong> a nick on it.<br />
<strong>Not</strong>hing.<br />
O<strong>is</strong>hi turns to him. And smiles.
