Note: "Peace and Security in the Northeast Asia" − Northeast Asia, defined here as the region comprising the Korean Peninsula, Japan, China and Taiwan, has become one <strong>of</strong> the most dynamic and<br />
complex areas for peace and security issues in international politics. This course will examine the many layers <strong>of</strong> peach and security in Northeast Asia, ranging from local disputes to region−wide crises.<br />
Aside from more military and political elements, this course will also explore other aspects <strong>of</strong> peace and security that will include environmental protection, human rights, social security and public health.<br />
