i) an integral part <strong>of</strong> the design <strong>of</strong> the principal building or<br />

structure and shares a common wall and/or ro<strong>of</strong> line with the<br />

principal building or structures;<br />

made <strong>of</strong> similar or complementary building materials as<br />

found in the principal building or structure, and<br />

attached in a manner that appears in design to be a planned<br />

extension <strong>of</strong> the principal building or structure.](B/L 2557)<br />

(3) The specific number <strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong>f-street parking and loading spaces for each use is<br />

found in zone regulations in Parts VI, VII and VIII <strong>of</strong> this <strong>Zoning</strong> By-law.<br />

(4) When a building is enlarged or a use extended or changed, the accessory<br />

parking and loading requirements for the enlargement, extension, or new use<br />

shall be provided in accordance with the requirements <strong>of</strong> this section and those<br />

<strong>of</strong> the zone in which the building or use is located.<br />

(5) An accessory <strong>of</strong>f-street parking space shall be at least nine (9) feet wide and<br />

twenty (20) feet long.<br />

(6) An accessory <strong>of</strong>f-street loading space shall be a minimum width <strong>of</strong> nine (9)<br />

feet and a minimum length as required by the Council based on approved<br />

design <strong>of</strong> site.<br />

(7) An accessory <strong>of</strong>f-street loading space shall be located on the site in such a<br />

manner as to allow any vehicle using the loading space to be parked<br />

completely <strong>of</strong>f the street.<br />

(8) All accessory <strong>of</strong>f-street parking and loading areas and spaces shall be on the<br />

same site as the use served unless a variation order is approved for parking<br />

spaces located elsewhere.<br />

(9) The surface <strong>of</strong> the accessory <strong>of</strong>f-street parking and loading areas and spaces<br />

and the access driveways thereto, shall be surfaced with gravel, asphalt or<br />

concrete and designed in such a manner that there will be no free flow <strong>of</strong> water<br />

onto either adjacent properties or public sidewalks.<br />

(10) For the purpose <strong>of</strong> computing the accessory <strong>of</strong>f-street parking or loading<br />

spaces as required in the Zones <strong>of</strong> each PART <strong>of</strong> this By-law, the following<br />

shall apply:<br />
