In a challenging year, we acknowledge the generosity
and support of numerous sponsors, benefactors, donors
and volunteers for their contribution towards the success
of our special events.
National Loud Shirt Day – 14 May 2010
On Loud Shirt Day hundreds of organisations and
over 12,000 school children in WA turned up the
volume by wearing their loudest and brightest attire
to help give deaf children a voice.
The most successful schools in raising funds were:

Artitude by Audi – 12 June 2010
The 11 th edition of Artitude was held in The Astral
Ballroom of Burswood Entertainment Complex.
Corporate sponsorship underpins the success of Artitude
and we acknowledge the longstanding and generous
support of naming sponsor, Audi Centre Perth, and top
tier sponsors Australian Capital Equity, AMP Foundation,
Box Magazine, Burswood Entertainment Complex, JVA
Financial Services, Gibbscorp and Perron Group.
Our event sponsors also make a significant contribution
and we acknowledge the invaluable support of Juniper
Estate, The West Australian, Advans Exhibition Services,
Marketforce, Plantagenet Wines, Staging Connections
and Worldwide Online Printing, West Perth.
The exhibition featured over 200 artworks produced by
artists from Perth’s leading galleries and a select group
of independent local artists.
Norah Ohrt of Perth Galleries and Sotheby’s curated a
selection of collectible art in the Artitude exhibition and
Paula Killin-Mullins coordinated the YAWA (Young Artists
with Artitude) exhibition.
In the Open Category, sponsored by Australian Capital
Equity, Jánis Nedéla was the winner for his “Sea and
Sky” which was acquired by a private collector.
The YAWA acquisitive art prize, sponsored by Burswood
Entertainment Complex, was won by Rebecca Ann Lee
for her photographic collage “Lamp Posts Australia”.
A highlight of the Charity Auction by J Barrey Williams
was an Australian South Sea Pearl Bespoke Jewellery
Creation by Rohan Jewellery.
