Respectful, Responsible, Courteous and Kind
During May we recognized the following students in our weekly drawings for
Herberich’s unique rewards program, “I saw you being … Respectful, Responsible,
Courteous and Kind”.
Alex Ash, Gabe Ash, Dan Bartlett, Kylie Boyd, Karl Brozeit, Noelle Cole, Adi
Desai (twice), Makenzie Dijak, Neeka Hajjafar, Gavin Hill, Heaven Jackson, Emma
Kello, Susie Kleines, Michael Manos, Sarah Masuoka, Selena Murphy, Abby
Owen, Hannah Potts, Logan Price, Nick Manos, Allie Poundstone, Dustin
Pudlowski, Brendon Roddy, Caleb Scott, Camron Shaw, Rachel Siddall, Rawney
Trunko, Amelia Wagner and Jason Ware.
The students were recognized over morning announcements and invited to
choose a reward from Miss Ashcroft’s prize drawers.
All students, preschool through fourth grade are eligible for this awards recognition
program. Students can be recognized by their bus drivers.

April Student of the Month
Mrs. Lisa Headley wrote:
Patricia was chosen for Student of the Month
because of her positive attitude and work ethic.
Patricia works very hard in class to complete each
assignment and always checks her work. She is
always willing to volunteer during her recess to
help her peers and teachers. She has worked as a
table washer in the cafeteria and as a helper to
Mrs. Deering. She also substitutes for students
who cannot help on their designated days. She is
a positive role model for our class because she is
always respectful and courteous.
Patricia likes to swim, write stories and play school in her spare time. She
looks up to her grandmother because she always gives the right answer and
protects her. Her favorite subject in school is writing. Her favorite things
about Herberich are her friends and teachers. Patricia wants to be a teacher
when she grows up because teaching is fun.
I am very proud to have Patricia Porter represent Herberich Primary School
for Student of the Month.

ALL NEW STUDENT
REGISTRATIONS :
ALL registrations must be submitted
to Central Registration at the
Board of Education. The registration
packet is available online or
can be picked up at the Board of
Education, located behind Copley
High School on Ridgewood Road.
Please call ahead for an appointment:

SHOES: We only have ten days
of school left. Please encourage
your children to wear shoes suitable
for running on the playground.
There have been a large number of
twisted ankles, falls on the black
top and mishaps on the climbing
equipment—the majority of the
children affected have being
wearing flimsy sandals, flip flops or
crocs. Thanks for helping us keep
our students safe.
THANK YOU: I would like to
personally thank our parents,
teachers and staff for all their kind
help and support this past school
year. Special thanks are due to
several people: Romi Brozeit for
her encouragement and knowledge;
to Romi’s team who provided my
family with hot meals; to our nurse,
Rita Baker who took care of the
sick kids so that I was not exposed
to too many germs, and to Miss
Ashcroft who did it when the nurse
was not around. I am truly blessed
to be part of the Herberich family.

Moving Over the Summer?
If you already know that you will be moving over the summer please contact Mrs.
Neale-May as soon as possible to arrange the necessary documentation for your
child’s smooth transition to his/her new school.
Should you have an unexpected move over the summer, please send Mrs. Neale-May
an e-mail (joy.neale-may@copley-fairlawn.org) or leave a voicemail (330.664.4991).
When you register your child at his/her new school you will be asked to sign a
records release form. The new school’s registrar can fax or mail it to Herberich. It will be handled as soon as the
