<strong>PLAYER</strong> <strong>DEVELOPMENT</strong><br />

4 EYE GUARDS<br />

4.3 All junior players (under 19) and doubles players are required to wear appropriate eye<br />

guards as per <strong>Squash</strong> Canada’s eye guard policy when playing in any sanctioned <strong>Squash</strong><br />

B.C. event.<br />

4.4 Although not mandatory in adult singles, it is <strong>Squash</strong> B.C.'s policy to encourage players of<br />

all ages and calibers to wear eye protection.<br />

5 JUNIOR RANKINGS:<br />

5.3 Novice events will not be used for ranking purposes.<br />

5.4 All matches must use a World <strong>Squash</strong> Federation approved scoring system<br />

5.5 Junior Tournaments must send in the results within one week.<br />

5.6 Junior League matches will be used for Junior rankings.<br />

6 AWARDS PRESENTED AT THE <strong>BC</strong> JUNIOR CLOSED<br />

6.3 The Massey Goolden Trophy is designated to honor junior players for achievement<br />

combined with sportsmanship.<br />

6.4 The <strong>BC</strong> Junior <strong>Squash</strong> Service Award is presented to an individual or group who has<br />

unselfishly inspired, coached or mentored junior squash players.<br />

6.5 The <strong>Squash</strong> <strong>BC</strong> Junior Championship Club Challenge Trophy is based on the club that wins<br />

the most individual trophies at the Provincials.<br />

6.6 Nomination forms are on the web site.<br />

7 UNIFORMS<br />

7.3 <strong>Squash</strong> <strong>BC</strong> may provide uniforms for athletes to wear at national tournaments.<br />

7.4 These may be supplied on cost sharing basis depending on sponsorship and funding for that<br />

year.<br />

7.5 Uniforms may range from T-shirts to warm-up jackets.<br />
