GSBS BASKETBALL’S JUMP SHOT SCHOOL<br />
Under the direction of George Shimko, this program is designed<br />
to teach players the proper mechanics and efficiency of shooting<br />
a basketball. Instruction includes footwork, movement without<br />
the ball, shooting off the dribble and pass, 3-point shooting, and<br />
free-throws. All players will be separated into groups by age<br />
and skill level. A great way to prepare for the winter basketball<br />
season! Participation includes a t-shirt. Ages 8-14 years.<br />

the winter basketball season and teach the fundamentals of<br />
basketball, including dribbling, passing, and shooting. All players<br />
will be separated into groups by age and skill level. Players must<br />
be pre-registered to participate.<br />

NATIONAL ALLIANCE FOR YOUTH SPORTS<br />
(NAYS) – SMART START SPORTS DEVELOPMENT<br />
This is an excellent opportunity to spend time with your child<br />
and assist in their youth sports development. The program<br />
prepares children for organized sports in a fun, non-threatening<br />
environment. Parents work one-on-one with their child to teach<br />
a variety of sports skills: throwing, catching, kicking, and batting.<br />
Activities and exercises, which become increasingly more difficult<br />
as the program progresses, are provided by NAYS and will be<br />
delivered by the class instructor. Each participant receives a<br />
manual, two Koosh balls, one Teslon soccer ball, one Boingo ball,<br />
one bat and ball set, one glove, one mesh bag, and one “The Sport<br />
in Me” workbook to be completed with a parent. Ages 3-5 years<br />
