Benefits Eligibility Applications
Commerce Opportunity Bursary
• $15 000 per annum for the duration of
the course (up to three years at a time).
Number available: Two.
Selection is based on academic merit and
documented disadvantage associated with one
or more Access Melbourne categories. Students
must:
• Be an Australian citizen residing in Victoria
• Be eligible for one or more Access
Melbourne categories.

Commerce at International House Scholarships
• Residency at International House for the
first year of the Bachelor of Commerce
(valued around $13 000).
Number available: Two.
Selection is based on academic merit and
documented disadvantage associated with your
SEAS application. Students must:
• Be an applicant from rural or regional
Victoria (from at least 2009)
• Be eligible for Access Melbourne
• Be required to move from a location not
defined as a major city by the Australian
Standard Geographic Classification (ASGC)
Remoteness Areas classification in order to
undertake the Bachelor of Commerce
• Have completed the final two years of
school in a rural or regional secondary
school, if you are a school leaver.
