<strong>Carmel</strong>ine<br />
After a historic year at <strong>Carmel</strong> <strong>Country</strong> <strong>Club</strong>, the Golf Staff can’t wait to get the<br />
2012 golf season underway. Jason and the Professional Instruction Staff have put<br />
together a fantastic season of activities and clinics which will cater to all ages and<br />
skill levels. The tournament schedule this year is full of opportunities to compete and socialize<br />
throughout the year. We are also very excited about hosting the 2012 North Carolina<br />
Junior Championship this June. I truly believe that we have the best junior program<br />
in the Carolinas, and I expect many of our juniors to participate in this event, and have an<br />
exceptional year. We will also continue to work each and every day to improve our service<br />
and make the members of <strong>Carmel</strong> proud of their golf operation and facility.<br />
Congratulations to William Rainey who was named to the CGA North Carolina First<br />
Team All State golf team and Davis Bateman and Andy Simmons who were named to the<br />
Second team.<br />

North Carolina Junior Championship<br />
<strong>Carmel</strong> <strong>Country</strong> <strong>Club</strong> will host the 45th Annual<br />
North Carolina Junior Championship. This event,<br />
which is conducted by the Carolinas Golf Association,<br />
showcases the finest boy and girl junior players in<br />
North Carolina. The format will be stroke play qualifying<br />
and then match play to determine the Champion<br />
of this annual event. The event will be played on the<br />
North Course June 18th- 22nd.
