The Working Group started in April 2012 <strong>and</strong> completed its work in April 2013. The report was independently reviewed<br />
by additional experts nominated by <strong>EASAC</strong>. The analysis of comparator countries in Chapter 2 <strong>and</strong> Appendix 3 was<br />
discussed with <strong>the</strong> academies of science in <strong>the</strong> relevant countries. Chapter 3 was prepared by drawing on collaboration<br />
with NASAC <strong>and</strong> was in<strong>for</strong>med by discussion in a workshop in November 2012 (see Appendix 5).<br />
