MANAGE etc.
There are five regional training centres called Extension Training
Centres (ETCs) under the control of AMR-APARD. These are located at
Rajendranagar, Bapatla Srikalahasti, Samalkota and Hasanparthy.
The Campus of ETC Rajendranagar campus is spread over 118 acres
on the Himayatsagar main road connecting to outer ring Road and to
Rajiv Gandhi International Airport Hyderabad.
Government has recently taken a decision to locate the Training
facilities of all departments at one place for optimum utilization of
scarce land resources. This common training infrastructure including
recreation facilities will be shared by all the participating departments.
In order to achieve this objective, Government have constituted a
committee under the Chairmanship of Secretary (Rural Development)
to take a decision on the modalities of the construction of common
training facilities and issues relating thereto. Preparation of land use
plan for the entire land belonging to Extension Training Centre,
Rajendranagar and APARD precedes this activity.
AMR-APARD is looking for a reputed Architectural Planner to provide
for the following services which consists of two parts
PART – I
Preparation of detailed prospective land use plan for the
entire land of ETC Rajendranagar.
The Master Plan for land use needs to be prepared to prevent
haphazard growth of structures. Such plan will take into account
the requirements of space for office / training area, residential area
for faculty and staff, area for student hostels, recreational area and
open spaces. Proposed buildings will come up in areas set apart for
them.
PART – II
Architectural Design for the required infrastructure
The proposed campus will comprise three complexes:
a. Academic/training complex: comprising Academic/training
Buildings, Administrative offices, Library, Computer Centre,
laboratory, demonstration centers etc. keeping in view the
possible evolution of APARD into a University.
b. Residential Complex: Accommodation for staff and faculty,
Guest House, crèche, Community hall and parking area etc.
