1050 Fifteen Chamberlain’s Worcester crested dessert plates<br />
First quarter 19th century, unmarked, each with borders painted in the ‘’Rich<br />
Kakiemon’’ style in the ‘’Dejeuney’’ pattern of polychrome flowers within trellised oval<br />
cartouches on a cobalt blue ground with rich gilt foliate ornamentation, centering the<br />
crest of a castellated tower on a red and white striped baton, monogrammed ‘’JMR’’,<br />
15 pcs, each, 8.5’’ Dia., est:$600/900<br />
Condition: Good condition for age. Scratches, marks, rubbing and stacking wear<br />
commensurate with age and use. Colors bright. Most with significant rubbed wear to<br />
gilding, six with extensive rubbed wear. Probably re-gilt at some point. Glaze crazing<br />
to one. One with a .5-inch chip to gilt rim. Four with dark rough spots to undersides.<br />

covered potpourri vases<br />
First quarter 19th century, the coasters unmarked, the vases each with grey crown<br />
and script New Bond Street mark to lids; each with borders painted in the ‘’Rich<br />
Kakiemon’’ style in the ‘’Dejeuney’’ pattern of polychrome flowers within trellised oval<br />
cartouches on a cobalt blue ground with rich gilt foliate ornamentation, the bodies<br />
of the vases with the crest of a black boar’s head resting on a blue and white striped<br />
baton; comprising: two circular wine coasters and two double-handled circular<br />
covered vases mounted on square faux-marble-painted bases, 4 pcs, the coasters<br />
each, 2.5’’ H x 7’’ Dia., est:$500/700<br />
Condition: The vases, overall, each: 8’’H x 6’’Dia. Not monogrammed. Scratches,<br />
marks, rubbing and wear commensurate with age and use. One vase with part of one<br />
handle broken off into two pieces- pieces retained and with glue residue remaining<br />
from a previous restoration. A piece broken off of handle on other vase- not retained.<br />
A chip to finial of one vase. The wine coasters with light rubbed wear to gilding<br />

the bowl with red crested New Bond Street mark to lid, the other items unmarked;<br />
each with borders painted in the ‘’Rich Kakiemon’’ style in the ‘’Dejeuney’’ pattern of<br />
polychrome flowers within trellised oval cartouches on a cobalt blue ground with rich<br />
gilt foliate ornamentation, comprising: a jug monogrammed ‘’CTL’’(?)(5.25’’ H), a cream<br />
pitcher with the crest of a stag’s head resting atop a red and white-striped baton<br />
(5.5’’ H), a sauceboat (3.75’’ H), a double-handled covered bowl (4.5’’ H), and two open<br />
salts (each: 2.25’’ Dia.) with gilt metal mounts and a pair of associated sterling silver<br />
spoons, the spoons with makers mark of Nathan & Hayes, Birmingham 1892; 8 pcs,<br />

Condition: Good condition overall. Scratches, marks, rubbing and wear<br />
commensurate with age and use. Light rubbed wear to gilt decoration, more<br />
particularly to rim of jug and to handle of crested pitcher. Colors bright. Tarnishing<br />
