Circa 1920, titled on front and stamped in three places ‘’Austria’’, apparently
unsigned, after Carl Kauba (1865 - 1922 Austrian), the top depicting a young man atop
a rock digging, lifting to reveal a gilt sleeping nude maiden, 2 pcs, overall, 7.5’’ H x
5.25’’ W x 2.5’’ D, est:$1200/1800
Condition: Overall good condition. Patination ranges from deep to light browns. Wear
to patination commensurate with age. Light rubbing, scratches, marks and wear to
