Central Market Area Mission
In order to achieve this vision for the Central
Market Area, the following approach needs to
be fostered:
• Maximize transportation opportunities for large
employment centers as well as for small, medium,
and large employers;
• Attract a broad selection of small, medium, and
large employers to employment centers that are
located at identified nodes;
• Encourage master planned communities that
have the density and community services, i.e.,
libraries, schools, parks, and cultural activities,
to support a strong mix of uses within the community;
and
• Promote higher density, more compact development
to preserve additional open space and enhance
existing ecological areas.
