Holcomb died there on March 11, 1974 and Bennie followed him on March 17, 1981. Bennie Zue is
buried alongside her husband in the family plot in Brigham Cemetery outside of Campbell, Texas.
Bennie Zue Holcomb applied for her Social Security Number on June 11, 1943.She and her family were
living on the Timms Lease between Borger and Pampa, Texas in the Spring Creek Community and
received their mail on the White Deer RFD #1. She listsed her father as Benjamin Franklin Rogers and
her mother as Missouri Ellen Crowson.

Esther Clemmentine Holcomb Dooley , 89, of the Durham Community, near Commerce, Texas, died
April 26, 1996. Services were held at the Pemberton Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bobby Tollison
officiating. Graveside services were conducted at the Prairie Valley Cemetery, Lone oak , Texas. Born
in Ladonia, Texas on January 3rd, 1907, she was the daughter of William Taylor and Louella Strickland
Cantrell Holcomb. She married Bonnie Bardo Dooley on September 22nd, 1924, in Prairie Valley. Mrs.
Dooley moved to the Durham community in 1942. She had been a volunteer social worker in
Commerce for years and was a member of the First Baptist church. Survivors include three sons,
Thurman, Eddie Joe and Kenneth: one sister, Genevieve Holcomb Dooley Culberson Williams of
Albuquerque, New Mexico; Eight Grandchildren, Nine Great-grandchildren and two Great-Great
Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on December 24th , 1986; two brothers and
