1. Welcome Message<br />
Welcome to the <strong>2011</strong> <strong>Qatar</strong> International Baja!<br />
It is with great excitement <strong>and</strong> anticipation that <strong>Qatar</strong> <strong>Motor</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Motor</strong>cycle Federation is able to<br />
once again host a <strong>baja</strong> rally in <strong>Qatar</strong>. For the first time since 2005, we welcome <strong>and</strong> play host to<br />
riders <strong>and</strong> drivers from all over, giving them the chance to prove their skill <strong>and</strong> endurance, <strong>and</strong> the<br />
reliability of their machines.<br />
We would like to take this opportunity to express our thanks to the representatives from the<br />
Federation Internationale de l’Automobile, representatives from the Federation Internationale de<br />
Motocyclisme, sponsors, promoters, organizers <strong>and</strong> friends <strong>and</strong> for their contribution to the<br />
success of this event.<br />
In addition we would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude for the support<br />
<strong>and</strong> continuing guidance <strong>and</strong> supervision of His Highness the Emir of <strong>Qatar</strong> Sheikh Hamad Bin<br />
Khalifa Al-Thani, His Highness the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, <strong>and</strong> His<br />
Highness Sheikh Abdullah Bin Khalifa Al-Thani the special adviser to the Emir, without whom the<br />
