2011<br />
UPDATE<br />
The 2011 Relay for Life has been run and won. The<br />
numbers have now been crunched and the tallies<br />
are now complete.<br />
Over 24 hours on the weekend of March 26/7, our<br />
wonderful team of enthusiastic students, teachers<br />
and friends, walked a massive 2095 laps of St<br />
Leonards Athletic Track, a distance of 850 kilometres.<br />
Our biggest contributors were Sonia Dennis & Kane<br />
Harbottle, each with an incredible 143 laps over the<br />
24 hours.<br />
A total of $3,629 in sponsorship was collected for The <strong>Tasmanian</strong> Cancer Council which more than doubled<br />
last year’s tally. Of that total, $290 was collected by the SRC in student donations and Emily Weilstra<br />
collected a massive $1,200. Congratulations Emily on a fantastic solo effort and to the rest of the team<br />
and your generous sponsors.<br />
