SUGGESTED ASSEMBLY PROCEDURE:<br />
After partial assembly per Figure 5.<br />
6. Nail plywood STRIP to FRONT 2x4 with<br />
f -inch extending above BOTTOM as support<br />
for door.<br />
7. Cut saw notches <strong>and</strong> slits for twine in<br />
BACK <strong>and</strong> DOOR SUPPORT.<br />
8, Paint marks at 22 <strong>and</strong> 24 inches for bale<br />
height reference.<br />
9. Fabricate DOOR<br />
10. Set DOOR in position <strong>and</strong> install appropriate<br />
lasteners,<br />
DOOR FABRICATION DETAILS:<br />
A. Put all ripped edges <strong>of</strong> 2x2's to plywood<br />
<strong>and</strong> nail with 6d common nails at 6 inch<br />
spacrngs.<br />
B. Use 3" x 35" x 20 gauge galvanized metal<br />
bent to 11/2" x 11/2" x 88" angle for door<br />
edge protector. Drill 3/8" holesforsquare<br />
shoulder ol 1/4" carriage bolts.<br />
C. lnstall metal with four 1/q" x21/e" carriage<br />
bolts with flat washers.<br />
D. Set DOOR in position in a bale box <strong>and</strong><br />
align to install fasteners.
