Beijing
Uncover Beijing’s architectural past and present like the
Water Cube and Bird’s Nest or perhaps enjoy a cooking
class in a restored Hutong courtyard house. In the evening
attend the 200-year-old Peking Opera or enjoy a martial
arts spectacular of Kung Fu, dance and acrobatics.
Shanghai
In Shanghai visit ancient Zhujiajiao Watertown with a
history of over 1,700 years or explore the old Jewish
Quarter, then wander the tree-lined avenues of the
French Concession; or discover a glimpse of daily life
with a local family.
Yangshuo
Discover the beautiful countryside and enjoy a sumptuous
lunch with a local farmer or learn the art of Chinese
cuisine; or visit the magnificent Silver Cave and marvel at
the waterfall-like rock formations and glistening
stone curtains. In the evening, perhaps choose to witness
the incredible display of cormorants, seabirds that catch
fish for local farmers, or enjoy ‘Impression Liu Sanjie’,
a music and light show performed by hundreds of singers
and dancers.
Tokyo
In Tokyo you can visit Ryogoku, the home of sumo
wrestling where the stadium and training stables are
found; or venture into the world’s biggest fish market
in Tokyo for the freshest sushi you’ll ever taste; or enjoy
a guided walk through a maze of streets filled with
traditional shops.

indulge in Japanese foods like tempura, sashimi, sushi and
sake as you cruise Tokyo Bay on board a Yakatabune,
an old fashioned houseboat; in Guilin dine at a local
restaurant featuring the finest Cantonese, Hunan,
Huaiyang and Guilin delicacies. In Hangzhou you could
dine at a buffet restaurant revolving around an interactive
show kitchen that allows guests to watch skilled chefs in
action and in Lijiang enjoy authentic Cantonese cuisine
with signature Yunnan and Sichuan specialities.
