Day 2 Tokyo Enjoy your Included sightseeing
tour of this bustling city. Start with a walk through
the private gardens of Hama-Rikyu landscaped
gardens which are where the shogun would
hunt and relax. Scenic Enrich: Enjoy a moment
of calm and tranquillity and a uniquely Japanese
experience, a special tea ceremony in the gardens.
Cruise on the Sumida River for a different view and
perspective of Tokyo before visiting Asakusa district,
an atmospheric part of the city for a glimpse into
Tokyo’s past. Admire the spectacular views from
atop the world’s tallest tower, the Tokyo Skytree.
Experience Sensoji, the oldest Buddhist temple in
the city and wander through Tokyo’s famous Meiji
Shrine, dedicated to the late Emperor, and set
in a beautiful forest of more than 120,000 trees.
Leaving this tranquil setting behind, navigate your
way through Harajuku district, a fashion mecca
for youth and Tokyo’s “Champs-Elysees” with its
flagship fashion stores designed by internationally
renowned architects. This evening enjoy your

as you set sail on a Yakatabune, an old-fashioned
houseboat, and enjoy the Tokyo skyline whilst

City Center.

Day 3 Tokyo – Nikko National Park –
Tokyo Discover why Japanese want to visit this
beautiful site at least once in their lifetime during
your Included full day tour to Nikko. See its fine
collection of World Heritage-listed gilded shrines
and temples. In the mountains above the park,
spend time beholding the natural beauty of Kirifuri
no Taki Waterfall. Visit Tamazawa Imperial Villa,
a beautiful traditional Japanese house which was
used as a summer villa by the Imperial Family
of Japan.

Day 4 Tokyo – Mt Fuji region Enjoy your
Included Scenic FreeChoice activity select from:
(1) learn about sumo wrestling with a visit to a
Ryogoku or; (2) venture into the world’s biggest
fish market at Tsukiji and experience sushi at
its freshest; or (3) enjoy a guided walk through
Yanaka, a maze of streets with traditional shops
and restaurants. This afternoon leave Tokyo and
head south along the coast to Kamakura to see
the 750-year-old Great Buddha before continuing
on to the Mount Fuji area. Tonight enjoy your

Day 5 Mt Fuji region Travel up through
the mountains glimpsing amazing views of the
surrounding valleys. Embark on your Included
cable car ride for a birds-eye view of the lakes
and peaks and your Included cruise on Lake Ashi.
Perhaps you will even try the famous black eggs
cooked in the volcanic waters, said to lengthen
your life by 10 years! Throughout the day you
will have the opportunity to glimpse majestic Mt
Fuji but remember she is notoriously shy! This
afternoon continue to the intriguing Itchiku Kubota
Art Museum, standing in the wooded hills alongside
Lake Kawaguchi, to see the wonderful kimonos dyed
using an ancient technique more than 300 years old
