• Advising Genesis Petroleum Corporation Plc on its joint venture with Petroleum
Geo-Services ASA in Genesis Petroleum Europe Limited
• Advising Global Natural Energy plc on changes in its gas supply arrangements for
its Corona Energy gas retail distribution business and related shareholder
agreements
• Advising KBC Advanced Technologies plc on the transfer to it and licensing by it
of intellectual property rights in HYSYS.Refinery
• Advising Puma Energy on various joint ventures to build, own and operate oil
storage facilities together with supporting throughput arrangements and related
financing in Paraguay, Honduras and Brazil
• Advised an offshore contractor in relation to a joint venture between the offshore
contractor and operator and Brazilian oil and gas drilling, exploration and
production company in relation to long-term charter and operating contracts for
floating production storage and offloading vessels operating in the Espardarte,
Roncador and Marlim Sul fields offshore Brazil. Advice was also provided to the
offshore contractor for the acquisition of a 20% share in the operating and owning
companies by the Brazilian company and the financing thereof
• Advised an offshore operator during its negotiations with a ship owner in
connection with a joint venture in respect of the construction, acquisition,
management and operation of a dynamically positioned deepwater construction,
installation and anchor handling vessel. This also involved assisting the parties in
their negotiations with the shipyard and documenting the terms of the construction
of the vessel, the joint venture agreement, and the chartering and operating
agreements for the vessel
• Advising Global Process Systems Inc on its joint venture arrangements for the
design, fabrication and supply of a mobile offshore processing unit to Petrofac for
use in the Cendor Field, which is located offshore Peninsular Malaysia. Our role
