Areas covered included Import/Export, Ownership Structures, Tax issues, Registration/Deregistration of the FLNG, Compliance with the laws of the relevant jurisdiction and International covention compliance. • Advising a Middle Eastern bank in respect of a €95,000,000 letter of credit and loan facility to an oil trader to finance trading in oil and petroleum products • Advising an international oil trader on a $45,000,000 advance payment arrangement for the purchase of oil products from Cubametales/Cupet, the Cuban state oil producer • Advising Pantheon Resources plc on a placing to raise around £4.5m • Advising Irvine Energy plc on a placing to raise £1.1m • Advising Resaca Exploitation on certain aspects of its listing on AIM with a market capitalisation of ca £120m and related £53m placing • Advising Oriel Securities Limited as nominated adviser and broker and Tristone Capital Limited as global bookrunner and broker on the £50m AIM IPO of Valiant Petroleum plc. Valiant intends to use the funds (together with existing debt facilities) to reach first production on the West Don and Don South West fields and fund its 2008 drilling program and approved 2008 budgets for the Crawford and Causeway fields 5
