<strong>The</strong> <strong>Navy</strong> <strong>League</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Canada</strong><br />
(iii) Assigning responsibilities to the elected members <strong>of</strong><br />
the Branch Council; and,<br />
(iv) Be responsible to Division for the Branch's proper<br />
functioning and compliance with By-Laws <strong>of</strong> <strong>The</strong> <strong>Navy</strong><br />
<strong>League</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Canada</strong> (<strong>NL</strong> 18) and such other regulations as<br />
may be promulgated by National Board <strong>of</strong> Directors and/or<br />
the Division.<br />
Vice-Presidents<br />
Shall assist the President and act for him in his absence.<br />
Secretary<br />
<strong>The</strong> Secretary shall:<br />
(i)<br />
(ii)<br />
Maintain Branch records;<br />
Record and report all minutes <strong>of</strong> meetings;<br />
(iii) Conduct correspondence as necessary for Branch<br />
operation.<br />
(Note: <strong>The</strong> <strong>of</strong>fices <strong>of</strong> Secretary and Treasurer may be<br />
combined as Secretary-Treasurer)<br />
Treasurer<br />
<strong>The</strong> Treasurer shall:<br />
(i) Maintain financial records <strong>of</strong> the Branch including a<br />
record <strong>of</strong> all receipts and expenditures <strong>of</strong> Branch funds;<br />
