WARRANTY<br />

Distributor Warranty Policy<br />

Maxima Technologies warrants its Stewart Warner brand products against defects in<br />

workmanship and materials for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of<br />

purchase. These products must be installed and operated according to the purpose for<br />

which they were intended, designed, and specified. This warranty excludes items that<br />

are incorrectly installed, misused or abused by the customer as would be uncovered<br />

upon examination. If a suspect product is returned to Maxima for inspection, upon<br />

which it is determined that the product is in fact defective, Maxima will replace the<br />

product free-of-charge or issue credit to the customer. Maxima will not assume responsibility<br />

for labor costs associated with the removal of suspect product or the cost of equipment<br />

downtime, or any other costs associated with the concerns that are not specifically<br />

related to workmanship or materials.<br />

If proof-of-purchase is not available, the warranty period defaults to two (2) years from<br />

the date of manufacture of the product (as referenced by the date code on the product<br />

label).<br />

Hobbs products shall be warranted for a period of one (1) year in accordance with the<br />

terms and conditions stated above.<br />

Returned Materials Policy<br />

ANY PRODUCT TO BE RETURNED TO MAXIMA FOR ANY REASON MUST INCLUDE A<br />

RETURNED MATERIALS AUTHORIZATION (RMA). The RMA must be obtained in advance<br />

from a Maxima quality representative who will determine whether to process the request.<br />

Maxima’s quality personnel will assign an RMA number and the customer must<br />

identify this information on the package(s) to be returned to Maxima. All returns must be<br />

shipped pre-paid with traceability to Maxima. Upon receipt of suspect material, Maxima’s<br />

quality personnel will provide appropriate disposition, in which case our warranty<br />

policy may or may not apply.<br />
