GUIDE FOR AUTHORS
The Editor welcomes the submission of original articles relevant to the science and
technology of food and beverages. Submission of an article implies that the work described
has not been published previously (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published
lecture or academic thesis), that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, that its
publication is approved by all authors and tacitly or explicitly by the responsible authorities
where the work was carried out, and that, if accepted, it will not be published elsewhere in the
same form, in English or in any other language, including electronically without the written
consent of the copyright-holder.
Manuscripts should be submitted electronically via the online submission site.
Article structure
The language of publication is English.
Follow this order when typing manuscripts: Title, Authors, Affiliations, Abstract, Keywords,
Main text, Acknowledgements, References, Figure Captions and then Tables. Do not import
the Figures or Tables into your text.

- bottom 1.5 cm
- left 2.5 cm
- right 2.5 cm
Title: Concise and informative, TNR, 14, bold, capital letters, center.
Author names: TNR, 12, bold, center (Ex. Stănescu Maria 1* ).
Affiliation: Indicate all affiliations with a lower-case superscript letter immediately after the
author's name and provide the e-mail address of corresponding author, TNR, 10, italic, center.
The corresponding author should be identified with an asterisk and should provide on a
separate page also telephone and fax numbers (with country and area code) and the complete
postal address.
Abstract: TNR, 10, the abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, the principal
results and major conclusions, it should contain 200-250 words.
Keywords: TNR, 10, italic, please provide 4-5 keywords that are not presented in the title.
Main text must be typewritten, one-spaced, TNR with a font size of 12 and should follow the
arrangement described below:
• Introduction must give essential background but no subheadings; objectives must be
clearly stated;
• Materials and methods with sufficient full experimental detail (where possible by
reference) to permit repetition;
• Results and discussion should be presented concisely using well-designed tables
and/or figures; the same data may not be used in both; appropriate statistical data
should be given.
