"Ofek" Forum for Involvement<br />
and Influence in Security and<br />
Society Issues<br />
This small forum is composed of students in<br />
the Ofek program and personnel from<br />
the security forces who explore and promote<br />
ideas related to Israeli security and<br />
discuss security and social dilemmas in order<br />
to develop high-quality leadership among the<br />
security forces. The forum is directed by <strong>IDC</strong><br />
<strong>Herzliya</strong>'s Provost, Prof. Rafi Melnick. For<br />

Government Related Internships<br />
Internship opportunities for second and<br />
third-year students in the Lauder School of<br />
Government, Diplomacy and Strategy are<br />
available at a variety of government offices<br />
and at organizations active in relevant<br />
fields. The internships offered by the school<br />
provide students with the opportunity to<br />
obtain practical experience in the public<br />
sector, opening the door for them to<br />
pursue a career in this field in the<br />

<strong>IDC</strong> <strong>Herzliya</strong>'s Sports Devpartment*<br />
The students at <strong>IDC</strong> <strong>Herzliya</strong> have the<br />
opportunity to participate in a wide variety of<br />
athletic activities through the 30 sports teams<br />
which <strong>IDC</strong> <strong>Herzliya</strong> fields. The highly ranked<br />
teams compete within the Academic Sport<br />
Association (ASA) Games and tournaments<br />
in a variety of sports take place at the <strong>IDC</strong><br />
<strong>Herzliya</strong> campus throughout the academic<br />
year. <strong>IDC</strong> <strong>Herzliya</strong>’s membership in ASA also<br />
allows student athletes to enjoy additional team<br />
sports, such as mini-soccer, basketball,<br />
volleyball and handball, and individual sports,<br />
such as windsurfing, tennis, swimming,<br />
judo, fencing, karate, chess, track and field,<br />
gymnastics and dance. For additional<br />
