Dean of Student Affairs
Dr. Yitzhak Oron, The dean of student affairs deals with a
wide spectrum of general and personal problems that
students might encounter and takes every action within
his power to resolve them. The following matters, among
others, fall under the dean’s jurisdiction: IDC Herzliya
scholarships that are based on financial need; and
assistance for students with learning disabilities and other
special-needs groups such as new immigrants and
students with physical disabilities. The dean also handles
issues related to reserve duty (e.g. requests to shorten or
postpone reserve duty) and oversees the department that
assists students who perform reserve duty, the
Psychological Counseling Service and the Study Skills
Center. He also helps students deal with personal
(non-academic) problems. In addition, he serves as a
commissioner of student complaints, receiving and
addressing any complaints students may want to make
regarding any aspect of IDC Herzliya. You can contact by

Psychological Counseling Service
IDC Herzliya’s Psychological Counseling Service is
designed to promote the health and wellbeing of its
students. It provides professional individual counseling
services for academic and personal dilemmas, anxieties
and distress. The service is provided free of charge.
