Career Enhancement Programs Career Enhancement Programs Industrial Safety OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Training 4 wks 11 hrs $325 The OSHA General Industry Training Program is designed for safety personnel, supervisors and anyone else involved in general industrial operations. The course will include comprehensive instruction in OSHA General Industry Standards. • Introduction to OSHA, OSH Act/General Duty Clause, Inspections, Citations and Penalties • Walking and Working Surfaces • Means of Egress and Fire Protection • Electrical Safety • PPE: Personal Protective Equipment • Bloodborne Pathogens • Machine Guarding Upon completion, students will be issued an OSHA 10-Hour wallet card along with a Certificate of Attendance. ABLE/GED ABLE Improve your Reading, Math, or English skills or prepare for the GED test. KeyTrain provides a comprehensive learning system for common skills required by all jobs based on the WorkKeys assessment system KeyTrain is accessible to any Four County Adult student who wishes to improve scores on the WorkKeys assessment. Access to the system is free. You may use KeyTrain wherever there is a high-speed Internet connection To receive more information about how you can use KeyTrain to improve your basic workplace skills, please call Anne Howard at 419-267-2282. GED General Education Development If you are at least 19 years old and an Ohio resident, you may take the GED test. There is a $40 fee to take the test. You must register with the Ohio Department of Education before reserving a seat for the test. The test is given from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesdays and 4:00 – 8:30 p.m. on Thursdays at Four County Career Center. The test takes two days to complete, unless it is a retake. In the case of a retake, arrangements will be made at the time of registration. Call 419-267-2282 to register.
