Medical Administrative<br />

Assistant Program $600<br />

Students learn the support roles needed to make<br />

a medical facility work. With this knowledge,<br />

students will be competent to work in entry-level<br />

positions within a medical office. Students will<br />

have the opportunity to earn a Certified Medical<br />

Administrative Assistant certificate from the<br />

National Healthcareer Association.<br />

• Medical Records<br />

• Scheduling Appointments<br />

• Medical Office Procedures<br />

• ICD-9 Coding<br />

• Medicare/Medicaid Billing<br />

Prerequisites: Microsoft Word, documentation of<br />

training required. Test-out option: $20. Word class<br />

available, see page 10. Class partially online, must<br />
