Basics of Selling on eBay
3 days 9 hrs $160
This course gives new or experienced eBay users
the tools they need to become successful sellers.
More than 1.3 million people currently use eBay
as a primary or secondary source of income
(Source: ACNeilsen International Research, June
2006). Course attendees will learn the fundamental
skills needed to sell on eBay. You will become
registered as a seller and start the process of
setting up your account. You will also learn many
of the safety features built into eBay, how to set
up ads and other secrets to increase your success.
Attendees can also earn Continuing Education
Credits for taking this course and completing some
additional assignments. The eBay program has
been expanded to 3 days, this will give students
two days of listing experience along with 1 day
of packaging and shipping. Book included. For

Practical Alternative Energy
5 wks 20 hrs $115
It’s a class for everyone from teenager to average
home owner to entrepreneurial businessman.
No confusing technical terms, just plain, simple
English! Topics will include: myths about
alternative energy, solar (air, water and electric),
wind, geothermal, ethanol, waste oil, biomass,
methane (biogas), vehicle modification, home
cooling, advanced insulation, thermoelectric, how
to choose a good wood, coal or other biomass
burner, how to make electricity from scrap metal,
how to increase farm profits by growing energy
related crops, how to use your compost pile for free
heat and hot water, plus much more. You will also
learn how to make a solar air heater, solar water
heater and a wind turbine from off-the-shelf and
junk parts. Supply fee $35 payable to the instructor.

Basic Cake Decorating
2 wks 6 hrs $30
This course will cover the basics of cake
decorating including rose building and transferring,
writing on cakes, borders, various techniques of
using an icing bag and tips, baking the perfect cake
and making buttercream icing, designing with
airbrush colors and decorating an 8” round cake.
Supply fee $35 due to instructor 10 days prior to
start date (money orders only, no personal checks).
Students must sign up 2 weeks prior to class
start date.
