Basics of Selling on eBay<br />

This course gives new or experienced eBay users<br />
the tools they need to become successful sellers.<br />
More than 1.3 million people currently use eBay<br />
as a primary or secondary source of income<br />
(Source: ACNeilsen International Research, June<br />
2006). Course attendees will learn the fundamental<br />
skills needed to sell on eBay. You will become<br />
registered as a seller and start the process of<br />
setting up your account. You will also learn many<br />
of the safety features built into eBay, how to set<br />
up ads and other secrets to increase your success.<br />
Attendees can also earn Continuing Education<br />
Credits for taking this course and completing some<br />
additional assignments. The eBay program has<br />
been expanded to 3 days, this will give students<br />
two days of listing experience along with 1 day<br />
of packaging and shipping. Book included. For<br />

Practical Alternative Energy<br />

It’s a class for everyone from teenager to average<br />
home owner to entrepreneurial businessman.<br />
No confusing technical terms, just plain, simple<br />
English! Topics will include: myths about<br />
alternative energy, solar (air, water and electric),<br />
wind, geothermal, ethanol, waste oil, biomass,<br />
methane (biogas), vehicle modification, home<br />
cooling, advanced insulation, thermoelectric, how<br />
to choose a good wood, coal or other biomass<br />
burner, how to make electricity from scrap metal,<br />
how to increase farm profits by growing energy<br />
related crops, how to use your compost pile for free<br />
heat and hot water, plus much more. You will also<br />
learn how to make a solar air heater, solar water<br />
heater and a wind turbine from off-the-shelf and<br />
junk parts. Supply fee $35 payable to the instructor.<br />

Basic Cake Decorating<br />

This course will cover the basics of cake<br />
decorating including rose building and transferring,<br />
writing on cakes, borders, various techniques of<br />
using an icing bag and tips, baking the perfect cake<br />
and making buttercream icing, designing with<br />
airbrush colors and decorating an 8” round cake.<br />
Supply fee $35 due to instructor 10 days prior to<br />
start date (money orders only, no personal checks).<br />
Students must sign up 2 weeks prior to class<br />
