GENERAL INFORMATION
REGISTRATION DESK
The registration desk in the NCCK - Noveau Centre de Conférences
Kirchberg will be open as follows:
Sunday, 26 May 2013: 13:00 – 20:00
Monday, 27 May 2013: 07:30 – 18:00
Tuesday, 28 May 2013: 08:00 – 18:00
Wednesday, 29 May 2013: 08:00 – 16:30
EXHIBITION
The exhibition will be located in the foyer of the lecture halls. The coffee
breaks and lunch breaks will also take place in this area. Detailed
information, including an interactive floor plan, can be found on the
congress website.
The exhibition opening hours are currently under review following
suggestions from the technical suppliers and exhibitor:
Sunday, 26 May 2013: 18:00 – 23:00
Monday, 27 May 2013: 10:00 – 16:30
Tuesday, 28 May 2013: 12:00 – 20:00
(Micro-Matic Congress Sundowner 16:30 – 20:00)
Wednesday, 29 May 2013: 10:00 – 16:30
CONGRESS LANGUAGE
The congress language is English. Simultaneous translations will
not be provided.
DRESS CODE
The dress code is smart casual for the evening events.
INSURANCE
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly
recommended that all delegates take out their own travel and medical
insurance prior to coming to the congress. The organisers will
not take any responsibility for any participant failing to insure.
PASSPORT AND VISA REQUIREMENTS
EU residents and visitors from US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand
do not need visas for stays up to 3 months; only a valid passport
is required. All other visitors are requested to check the specific travel
requirements with their own diplomatic mission.
NOTICE BOARD
Congress announcements and messages for delegates will be posted
on a notice board near the registration desk. No announcements
will be made during the sessions unless absolutely necessary.
Please check the board regularly.
LUNCH / REFRESHMENT
Lunches will be served to all delegates from Monday through Wednesday
in the exhibition area. Lunches for partners are not foreseen;
these are included in the tours where indicated. By courtesy of the
hosts, beer and mineral water are available throughout the congress
in the exhibition area as well.
POSTERS
Please note that the poster presentations will not taking place during
lunch this year. There will be a special time only for the poster
presentations on Tuesday, 28 May 2013 at 5.00 pm. During this so
called “Poster Session”, the poster presenters will be available at
their poster for questions and discussions.
WLAN / WIFI
WLAN / WiFi is available for all participants throughout the NCCK.
