In special application cases, glove box filters are combined with a gas sorption filter (model types DKC and DKD). The filters can be installed on the air-intake or the air-outlet sides. Filters with activated-carbon cartridges can be installed only vertically. COPULAR air filters with, one or two connection fittings, are primarily used for purification of air exhausted from glove boxes used in the nuclear and chemical industries, and in laboratories. The highefficiency submicron particulate air filter element (HEPA) cannot be exchanged.
