From a total of 1268 questionnaires sent, in May 2001, 490 answers were received until the end
of June. Regarding the nature of the questionnaire and the distribution of the answers, this 40%
coverage was considered as representative.
III - SURVEY RESULTS
All answers were analysed and compiled, with the purpose of not only obtaining global indicators
and results, but also to identify specific needs and expectations and other useful information for
the individual certification process management.
This study presents only global results and correspondent analysis since specific or individual
information cannot be disclosed due to confidentiality issues.
Q1 - Following the publication of ISO 9001:2000 and transition period specifications, when will
you ask APCER to perform a Transition Audit to support the upgrading of your ISO 9001/2 or
3:1994 certificate?
