What Jesus Wants for
His Followers
There are times when things seem so bad, there is nothing
to do but pray. I came across this testimony in my files:
“I have been living in the United States since last
Christmas. I left my country, my father, my mother, my brothers,
my sisters, and everything. I came to this country because I need
to worship. I need to share the love of God, and I need to be free.
Now I am lucky very much more than my family. I feel sad
when I am thinking about them. They are sufferers of the
communists. I cannot do anything but pray. I turn all to the Lord.
Lord will bless them.” (Mylink Trinh Le)
they died, other people made fun of them. It was only after they
died that people realized how great they were in life. When
President Lincoln died, even his enemies were sad. It was that
way with Jesus. Even a soldier at the foot of the cross said, “For
sure, this Man was the Son of God” (Matthew 27:54b).
The cross was the glory of Jesus. Jesus was never greater
than in His death. The cross was His glory. The cross drew people
