The complete metamorphosis of an insect involves two completely different<br />
forms: a juvenile form and an adult form. This prevents adults and juveniles<br />
from competing for the same resources.<br />

Larva A butterfly larva is also<br />

c<strong>at</strong>erpillars spend most of<br />
their time feeding and also molt<br />
