THE COLLEGE<br />
to learning about the world, its numerous cultures, social and political systems, and fostering<br />
understanding and active cooperation among people of all backgrounds. MUN takes upon itself<br />
the responsibility for preparing its members to be leaders of the greater global community, whether<br />
at the local or international level.<br />
Newman Club/CATHOLIC CAMPUS MINISTRIES is the campus community of Catholic<br />
Christian students dedicated to promoting Catholic identity and fellowship. Newman Club is<br />
open to all students.<br />
PANHELLENIC COUNCIL (PANHEL) is a national organization with a chapter at <strong>Westminster</strong><br />
that was created to facilitate a spirit of communication and cooperation between sororities.<br />
Membership in one of the campus sororities is required.<br />
PENNSYLVANIA COLLEGIATE MUSIC EDUCATORS ASSOCIATION (PCMEA) was<br />
designed to promote statewide communication among music educators. Prerequisites for<br />
membership include national dues and invitation by chartered members of the group.<br />
PHILOSOPHY CLUB seeks to promote philosophic dialogue among students at the <strong>College</strong><br />
through weekly meetings (open to the entire campus community) and through attending philosophy<br />
conferences. Opportunities will be provided for students who are taking a basic philosophy<br />
class or students who major in philosophy to discuss topics addressed in class in an outside-theclassroom<br />
setting.<br />
The PRE-DENTAL SOCIETY was organized to provide support for students interested in dentistry.<br />
Members are encouraged in academic achievement and urged to participate in activities relating<br />
to dental medicine both on and off campus.<br />
PRE-VETERINARY SOCIETY, founded in 2007, seeks to encourage student interests in achieving<br />
goals and advancing studies in the field of veterinary medicine.<br />
PSYCHOLOGY CLUB, formed in 2005, encourages participation in and contribution to<br />
psychology-related activities by building a network of peer support.<br />
PUBLIC RELATIONS STUDENT SOCIETY OF AMERICA (PRSSA) is comprised of<br />
undergraduate and/or graduate students interested in public relations. Bi-weekly meetings, guest<br />
speakers, and special events allow students to further their knowledge of PR and gain valuable<br />
experience in the field. Only those students enrolled at <strong>Westminster</strong> <strong>College</strong> of Pennsylvania shall<br />
be eligible for membership in this chapter.<br />
ROTARACT CLUB is an international service club that is open to the entire student body. It is a<br />
club that focuses on community service and gives students a chance to get involved and make a<br />
difference. Planned events and projects include Lawrence County Elementary School Clothing<br />
Drive, Zoo Day with the children of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of New Castle, and various other<br />
projects in cooperation with Rotaract’s parent group, New Wilmington Rotary Club. Rotaract is a<br />
committed organization that meets every week to discuss new ways to improve our communities<br />
while improving ourselves.<br />

SEEKERS COLLEGE FELLOWSHIP meets weekly with the purpose of growing in faith by<br />
building relationships through speakers, group discussions, worship and events. A core group of<br />
8-16 students, selected through application and interview process, facilitates small groups, then<br />
plans and leads each meeting.<br />
SHOW CHOIR promotes musicianship and provides opportunities for students to enhance their<br />
singing and dancing skills. Membership is open to all <strong>Westminster</strong> students through an audition<br />
process that includes sight singing and dance selection.<br />
The SIERRA STUDENT COALITION is an organization comprised of members of the<br />
<strong>Westminster</strong> community with the objective of collectively working to cultivate positive interaction<br />
between the <strong>College</strong> and the natural world. The group works to achieve this objective through<br />
efforts to increase environmental literacy throughout the campus, community and curriculum;<br />
through efforts to encourage appreciation of the environment through direct interaction between<br />
the SSC and the natural world; and through efforts to alleviate the impact of the campus and
