President’s Scholarship<br />
To be eligible, a student must present a minimum GPA of 4.0 in college preparatory<br />
subjects (listed above).<br />
Tower Scholarship<br />
To be eligible, a student must present a minimum GPA of 3.5 in college preparatory<br />
subjects (listed above) or be in the top 25 percent of his or her class.<br />
<strong>Westminster</strong> Scholarship<br />

To be eligible, a student must present a minimum GPA of 3.0 in college preparatory<br />
subjects (listed on previous page) or be in the top 35 percent of his or her class.<br />
Young Presbyterian Scholarship<br />
This scholarship is awarded to students who are nominated by their pastor and<br />
present a minimum GPA of 3.500 on their high school transcript.<br />
Jerb Miller Scholarship<br />
This scholarship is awarded to students who present a minimum GPA of 3.500 on<br />
their high school transcript and are nominated by an educator who is a <strong>Westminster</strong><br />
graduate and familiar with their academic performance.<br />
General Scholarships and Grants<br />
Through funds available from budget appropriations, contributions from foundations<br />
and other donors, and earnings from invested scholarship funds, the <strong>College</strong> grants<br />
scholarship assistance toward the payment of tuition. The awards are based upon<br />
superior academic standing, financial need, and the applicant’s record as a citizen<br />
in the school or <strong>College</strong> community. The amount of assistance granted to students<br />
varies, the actual amount being based upon the need of the applicant as evidenced<br />
by the need analysis report.<br />
A Graham Ireland Grant is available to students with exceptional need.<br />
Students must be in good academic standing, which means that they are not on<br />
academic probation, to be considered for renewal of this award.<br />
An Alumni Grant, a minimum entitlement of $1,000 annually, is available to<br />
a son or daughter whose mother or father received an undergraduate or graduate<br />
degree from <strong>Westminster</strong> <strong>College</strong>. The grant is renewable if the student remains<br />
in good academic standing.
