contact information whenever they choose.
If a residential student is believed to be missing for at least 24 hours, the Director
of Residence Life or the Residence Hall Director should be notified immediately.
The staff member receiving the report will inform the Director of Safety and
Security immediately. Additionally, the student’s designated contact and any
appropriate law enforcement agency will be notified within 24 hours of the
determination that the student is indeed missing.
Students should be aware that if they are under 18 years old and not emancipated,
CCAD is required to notify a custodial parent or guardian with 24 hours of the
determination that the student is missing, in addition to any additional contact
person designated by the student.
